Position Summary:
Heddle Shipyards is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our Tendering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the tendering team, including managing documents, tracking deadlines, and communicating with suppliers and vendors.
Responsibilities:

Manage and organize documents related to tenders, including requests for proposal (RFPs), quotes, and bids.

Ensure all tender documents are accurately completed and submitted on time.

Track tender deadlines and communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely submissions.

Collect, organize, and document historical project data for use in future tenders

Support the tendering team in managing the supplier database and coordinating with vendors.

Assist with the preparation of tender-related reports and presentations.

Provide administrative support to the tendering team as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a similar field required.

Proven experience as an administrator, preferably in a tendering or procurement department.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail.
