As a Flat Roofing Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofs. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals and contribute to the successful completion of roofing projects. This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to work at heights and perform manual labor. A valid working at height certificate is mandatory. Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. Dependability is required. Good work ethic is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and repair of flat roofing systems, including membrane application, insulation, flashing, and other related tasks.
- Prepare work areas by removing debris and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for roofing work.
- Assist in the removal of old roofing materials, as well as the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following working at height regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure work is completed to high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Wage to be negotiated depending on experience.
