What You Will Get To Do:

Assist in the development and delivery of SS&C’s world class products.

Share your knowledge of various DevOps Tools and Technologies, and agile software development methodologies

Ability to work under pressure on many high profile projects simultaneously

Ability to interface effectively with a team of developers, BAs and product managers.
What You Will Bring:

3 or more years of Good hands-on knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools
-
Solid experience with system administration and management
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, etc.

Experience in building and deploying large-scale multi-tier .NET or Java web applications
-
Experience with highly available and responsive systems
-
Knowledgeable in common software code management practices, branching, merging, etc.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose practical solutions
-
Strong working knowledge of Cloud environment and tools
-
Experience with AWS – including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.
-
Working experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Development implementations and related systems such as Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
-
Knowledge of network topology, protocols, and debugging on Wintel systems
-
Knowledge of Container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes is a plus
-
Experience with server-side technologies such as Apache, Nginx, Redis, etc. is plus
-
Experience with server monitoring systems
-
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
-
Autonomy to work effectively with minimal supervision
-
Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships across disciplines and across the organization
-
Experience with Database (SQL Server primarily) administration.
-
Proficient in developing Continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines
-
Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins
-
Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure etc.
-
Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure)
-
Participate in project planning, estimation, iteration planning, and daily standup meetings
-
Post-secondary education in Computer Science is preferable.

Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize day to day workload
-
Aptitude to think more widely about the context of work and broader interdependencies
-
Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
-
Motivated by quality achievement

Good understanding of Operating Systems, Networks, SOA, Microsoft Technology Stack, Web applications
