Your future role on our team
In joining our structural team, your will work with members of multidisciplinary teams (engineers, designers and others) and perform study, design or detailed engineering for our various projects.

Help prepare engineering documents for the design works for projects in the following sectors: industrial, mining and metals, energy, oil and gas, environment and sustainable development, etc.
Design steel and concrete structures and foundations
Coordinate design activities with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical etc.)
Oversee, coach and review work of junior/intermediate engineers
Prepare estimates, technical specifications and reports
Perform quality control for the work of technicians and drafters
Contribute to work planning, organization and evaluation
Maintain friendly, close relations with colleagues and clients or their representatives
Help prepare proposals, schedules and budgets, where required
Support management in building the structural team’s capabilities
Participate in site work supervision, where necessary

Overview of certifications and job requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil (Structural) engineering, Master is an asset
Member of the PEO
20+ years of experience, at least 10 years in engineering design of steel/concrete structures and foundations in heavy industrial projects
Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software (S-Frame, SAP2000 or SAFI)
Ability to integrate engineering work
Intermediate knowledge of the MS Office Suite
Experience managing small teams and projects
Available for occasional travel to client sites
Asset: Experience in dynamic analysis of structures
Asset: Experience with finite element analysis
Asset: Bilingual in French (spoken and written)
