WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO PART-TIME EMPLOYEES TO JOIN US AS OFFICE CLEANERS. THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIVE LOCATIONS AND REGULAR TRAVEL ACROSS NIAGARA REGION (GRIMSBY, ST. CATHARINES, NIAGARA FALLS, THOROLD, WELLAND)
HOURS OF WORK INCLUDE EVERY SUNDAY (FULL DAY SHIFT) & VARIED WEEKDAY EVENINGS BETWEEN 6:30PM-11PM

COVID-19 VACCINATION EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeping track of cleaning schedule and adding or adjusting where required to ensure a clean work environment
- Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas, kitchen, employee areas
- Responsible for the maintenance of employee lounge tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning
- Responsible for removing trash in all office areas
- Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and restocking of restrooms
- Responsible for cleaning of windows in conference rooms, management offices, etc.
- Perform dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed
- May be required to shop for cleaning supplies as needed
- May be required to stock kitchen and board room supplies as needed
- Responsible for reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.
This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be assigned as permanent or temporary, where required.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate appropriately with staff and customers of the organization who cleaner may come in contact within the course of executing their duties.
Education & Experience
- At a minimum, a basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaning
- A focus on health and safety, with clear understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and how to keep safe work environment at all times
Working Conditions & Environment
- Physical position, with ability to bend, twist, crouch, push, pull
- Able to lift up to 30lbs unassisted
- Constant walking/standing
- Must have own vehicle to drive to all locations
- Must have valid G license and clean drivers’ abstract to be able to drive company vehicle, when required
