Design Link International is an award-winning Interior Design firm specializing in hospitality and commercial interior design projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill in the position of administrative assistant with skills in marketing and accounting.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is highly organized, efficient and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the team with communications and presentations, writing specifications, calculating quantities, ordering samples
- Organize the office and help create new systems to maintain organization
- Organize meetings and events for the business
- Assist in procurement by preparing budgets, create purchase orders, order and track shipments, organize logistics for multiple projects
- Simple bookkeeping, maintain receipts and records for the accountant, manage employee expenses
- Answer calls, organizing data, liaising with suppliers to update material library
- Website and Social media management /PR
- Proficiently utilize email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Dropbox to maintain and create office files
- Create estimates, purchase order and invoices, organizing logistics and delivery of FF&E to site, keep track of payment from client and to suppliers
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Graphic design ability is an asset
- Experience working with Quickbooks
- Experience with Wordpress to manage the website would be an asset
- Interior Design background would be an asset
- Experience in a similar type of Company/Organization is desired
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail in all work performed
- Superior time management and organizational skills
This is a part time position with 32 hrs a week - Monday to Thursday.
