Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)
Status: Contract/Full-Time
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of Adastra consultants on data warehouse and business intelligence projects

Participate in various project phases, including requirements gathering, logical and physical data modeling, metadata management, source system data analysis, and source-to-target data mapping

Contribute to ETL development and quality assurance efforts

Assume an entry-level position with a focus on hands-on technical work within the team.

Embrace emerging tools and technologies in the field of BI and Analytics

Contribute to the success of various client projects by providing hands-on technical expertise
Requirements, Qualifications and Background:
- 0-2 years experiences with a Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or similar/equivalent background

Proficiency with SQL and Python/Spark; knowledge of other programming languages would be an asset

IT development background

Ability to present complex subjects and alternatives in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within an organization

Previous experience in data warehousing and business intelligence would be an asset

Detail and action-oriented approach, with strong time management skills

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements

Demonstrates critical thinking, and an analytical mindset

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders

Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with industry trends and best practice
