Duties & Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of a 350hp ammonia refrigeration system and associated heating/cooling and ice making equipment.
Making sure the site and building are maintained in good order.
Supervising engine room staff of 4, working on a rotating 12 hour day/7day week schedule.
filling in for shift engineers vacations.
On call 24/7
Responsible for all preventative maintenance projects in the facility.
Responsible for maintenance and operation of sprinkler system/pumping systems.
Responsible for maintenance of engine room.
Must be willing to relocate to Liverpool area.
Qualifications:
4th Class Power Engineer and 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator.
A self starter with a demonstrated work ethic.
Problem solving capabilities.
Demonstrating strong management and leadership skills.
