System Business Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review, analyze and propose changes to existing systems and processes to increase business effectiveness.

Eliciting requirements using effective, visual techniques and find innovative ways to solve problems.

Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs.

Manage multiple small projects and/or lead specific sections of large projects to implement solutions to business problems.
-
Challenge the status quo to design solutions that drive efficient processes across all teams.
-
Act as liaison between end user and programmer, with focus on appropriately interoperating the users needs and requirements, in order to effectively communicate them to the programming team.

Ability to apply knowledge in the identification and resolution of complex business problems.

Effectively manage, plan and execute activities with generally defined goals.
Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills with all levels in the organization-Owners, managers, staff and customers.

Extensive experience with Microsoft suite(MS Word/Power Point/ Excel/Publisher/One Note/SharePoint/Cloud Services).

Knowledge of IT project management ( IT change management standards /IT process management standards).

Knowledge of technical writing of requirement and specifications documentation

Ability to create end-user documentation.

Strong system and impact analysis skills.

Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

Superior organizational skills, time/workload management, risk identification and mitigation capabilities.

Self-directing, able to work with minimum supervision and balance/manage multiple concurrent competing activities.

Sense of curiosity and thirst for knowledge to understand how systems and processes work with the objective to improve them.

Bilingualism an asset.
