Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of English Content, the E-Commerce Team Lead works closely with our Training and QA ass. Specialist to ensure the English production works smoothly and efficiently.They are responsible to ensure all production needs are met across product categories and studio locations. The ideal candidate is passionate about operational excellence, has a deep understanding of content production and is energized by leading a team of creatives to do their best work. This role requires a highly collaborative style and the ability to influence and motivate others to drive performance results.
This role is required to be in-office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Coordination - 50%

Manage and coordinate daily ecommerce content production targets while adhering to brand quality and excellence

Secure capacity with team bookings, coordinating availabilities with production needs

Collaborate cross-functionally with Studio Planners, Producers, and Merchandisers to ensure a smooth production for all involved parties

Oversee the copy room workflow and operational direction

Ensure studio stakeholders are provided with regular updates and visibility and apply action plans to handle delays that impact the content, schedule, or quality

Implement scalable processes, procedures, and systems to drive operational effectiveness, and operationalize studio initiatives and business strategic objectives

Report on performance metrics and KPIs to provide actionable corrective measures to improve the flow of operations, and production throughput

Manage cleanliness, supplies, and safety in the copy room

Collaborate with the Planning and Producing department to vet capacity and resource plans against the production forecast, identify potential capacity and capability risks and recommend contingency plans
People Leadership & Team Development - 30%

Provide opportunities for learning through coaching and team building initiatives

Support the Manager of English Content recruiting strategy by screening, interviewing, and onboarding new full time and freelance copywriters

Manage daily bookings and maintain a high-caliber roster of freelancers to accommodate seasonal staffing requirements

Support in the Performance Management process for all team members by conducting performance reviews and establish development plans

Work closely with the QA & Training ass.specialist in identifying performance gaps and establishing the needs for additional training

Ensure team mobilization by regularly gauging team spirit and implementing appropriate means to create a work environment that fosters healthy communication, collaboration, and productivity
Project implementation & Continuous Improvement - 20%

Contribute to the implementation of studio and business initiatives by applying operational best practices, engaging in cross-departmental collaboration with a continuous improvement approach

Initiate and develop actionable execution plans to optimize daily operations, productivity and communication

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance tools, standardize, and optimize procedures related to product copy services
Qualifications

College or Bachelor’s diploma in business, fashion management or a related field

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leading projects, production or content management systems

1-2 year experience in a leadership or management role

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

Experience with drafting, documenting, and implementing new procedures

Knowledge of CMS and other content production tools
