We are a leading dental practice in Red Deer, is expanding its team to meet the growing demand for exceptional oral healthcare in our community. We are currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Position Overview: As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform office tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and handling administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in the province of Alberta
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient comfort and care
- ClearDent knowledge is an asset
