Night Support Worker (Casual) – Springbrook Residential Home
Introducing ourselves:
Springbrook Residential Home provides disabled children and young people aged 6 – 18 years with a rolling respite programme where required, following a social work assessment. The team provides support and encouragement in independence and social activities whilst young people are in our care.
Job requirements:
A number of suitably qualified workers with disability experience and knowledge are required to provide support to disabled children and young people during their overnight stays at Springbrook.
The team works collaboratively with other service areas and council departments and you will be expected to be fully committed to a Multi-Disciplinary Team approach.
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
