Mercato on Main is a fairly new (2019) and modern Italian "one stop shop" bakery carrying imported products, fresh bread, sweets/ coffee, deli, and a variety of staple Italian food served at our hot table with a lot of items made fresh to order in the kitchen (pasta, fried foods, steaks, etc).
We are a small, family-owned business looking for a line cook who is capable of completing:
- Line orders
- Daily prep
- Daily cleaning duties
- Sorting grocery orders
- Etc. kitchen tasks
This candidate:
- Must have prior kitchen experience, minimum of 2 years
- Must have their Food Handlers Certificate
- Must be able to work as a team
- Must be able to listen/ follow instruction
- Must be able to communicate with hot table staff
- Must be organized
- Must be open to working in a family environment (we're all very friendly)
