Job Title: Articulating Forklift Operator
Setting: Outdoors
Location: 10285 Dallas Drive, Kamloops, BC, V2C 6T4
Hours: Monday to Friday / 5:45am to 2:00pm with option for overtime
Duties: Operating 950H articulating forklift. Tasks include unloading wood trucks, unloading steel trucks, loading rig mat trucks, and feeding wood to the production line. Other duties may include greasing, fueling and general maintenance of forklift. When caught up on operating, the candidate will help build rig mats until further operating is required.
Requirements: Forklift experience, physically fit, willingness to learn, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and ability to lift 50lbs.
PPE Requirements: CSA approved steel-toed boots and proper outdoor clothing for all seasons (especially fall, winter and spring months).
Employer Supplied PPE: Safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, coveralls, hardhat, welding helmet, and hi-vis vest.
Compensation: TBD based on experience
