Position-: Design Engineer
Location Mirabel, Canada (2 days / week at the office, and 3 days from home)

Job Description
Collaborate closely with professionals and multidisciplinary teams to understand design requirements and technical specifications.
Utilize CATIA V5 to produce plans, 3D concepts, installations, and detailed drawings of aerostructures and systems installations.
Perform troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.
Review and approve supplier data and modification requests.
To provide estimates and work statements for design-related activities.
Qualifications
Must have a college or engineering degree in aeronautics or mechanics with 10 years of relevant experience.
Mastery of CATIA V5, 2D and 3D modeling.
Have a good level of written and spoken French and English.
Good integration skills when it comes to multidisciplinary groups and partners.
Ability to understand and solve complex technical problems.
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Knowledge of composite materials would be an asset.
Knowledge of aircraft systems and stress analysis would be an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Design Engineer: 10 years (preferred)
- CATIA V5, 2D and 3D modeling.: 5 years (preferred)
