Position: Hydraulic Technician: Manufacturing Environment

Responsibilities

Learn how to use, maintain, and care for tools and safety equipment.

Understand and apply company policies and goals to ensure a fair and respectful workplace.

Cleaning equipment to prepare it for inspection or service.

Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure that it is working properly.

Performs tasks including but not limited to cutting and crimping of hose lines, disassembly of systems, plumbing hydraulic and pneumatic systems as directed, installation of related components as directed.

Installing hydraulic components, such as pumps, tanks, motors, valves, and filters, using hand tools and power tools.

Use measuring devices, torque tools and various other tools needed to install components.

Fabricate hose assemblies, piping and tubing with hand tools and test bench equipment.
Qualifications

Experience using electrical or manual tools.

Required to climb, stand, bend, stretch and crouch throughout the work shift.

Basic knowledge of hydraulics systems, components, and equipment.

Communication and teamwork skills.

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy (up to 50lbs) items.
