About this Role:
As a Production Technician, you would work as a team in a flexible manufacturing environment, operating specialized machines and various tools to manufacture our product. The successful candidate may be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting product while ensuring all materials and work performed adheres to organizational standards, housekeeping, safety regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Abide by designated organizational, as well as provincial safety guidelines, at all times;
- Follow all production procedures as instructed, and perform all work to manufacturing specifications
- Work effectively, as part of a team and individually
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools related to the manufacture of product
- Ensure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to
- Perform product quality inspections at workstation
- Track and record part, material, and product numbers
- Monitor status of inventory
- Keep workplace and shop floor clean and organized
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast paced, labour intensive manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints is a plus
- Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment an asset
- College diploma is an asset
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to regular changes in assigned tasks
Core Physical requirements include the ability to:
- Stand for the full shift (8 hours)
- Lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Bend and twist regularly throughout the shift
- Climb ladders occasionally
- Use various hand & power tools regularly throughout the shift
- Perform work at/ above shoulder level

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
