Pharmacy Assistant Duties -
Prescription assembly – data entry
Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
Compounding
Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
Drug order creation and receiving
Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state management, etc.)
BTC management
Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks
Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
- Delivery Driver Duties -
Delivering medications in a fully equipped car and provide exceptionally patient first service
Work with the Pharmacy team to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
Achieving operational standards
Operate the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road
Maintaining delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness
Job Requirements
Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
You have experience in a customer service-related role
Possession of a valid class 5 BC driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude
The ability to lift to 40 pounds
The ability to use a smartphone and operate Google Maps
Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
