Valley Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd. is looking to hire a team oriented, top-performing Refrigeration Installer Mechanic. Are you looking to progress in the Trade? Responsibilities:
· You would be completing installs from the pipping to the equipment start-up.
· Assist and lead construction and installation projects
· Carefully read and understand blueprints
· Follow plans to install new systems and modify existing systems;
· Foresee issues ahead of time and plan accordingly;
· Teach and train apprentices proper installation practices;
· Ensure the necessary materials required for the project are on hand and readily available;
· Provide own tools for the trade; vacuum pumps & refrigerant recovery units will be provided.
· Work with the crew with setting cases, piping, and installing, etc;
· Assist with organizing and clean up;
· Work safely following company policies
· Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
· Properly fill out all paperwork required for each job
Requirements:
· RSE – Refrigeration
· 3-5 years experience in refrigeration, construction installation, service preferred;
· Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license with a good abstract
· Own hand tools, tool pouch and steel toe safety boots
· Ability to travel on a daily basis within the service area, with some travel to outer lying regions as necessary – Some overnight travel required (a company vehicle and gas card will be provided)
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
· Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment;
· The job is physically demanding and involves occasional heavy lifting, crouching, bending
· Must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude;
