Accounts Payable Lead - Remote
Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the accounting team of an industry leader in digital video. In this role, you will act as the Accounts Payable lead and perform accounting and clerical duties and supervision related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities:

Manage the AP inbox to perform intake, review, and verification of invoices and check requests

Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices

Route invoices to proper departments for approval

Sort, code, and match invoices
- Enter and upload invoices into system

Track expenses and process expense reports

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
-
Prepare and perform check runs
-
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
-
Reconcile accounts payable transactions

Prepare analysis of accounts
-
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
-
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
-
Maintain vendor files
-
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Produce monthly reports
-
Assist with month end closing
-
Provide supporting documentation for audits

Maintain accurate historical records
-
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

Knowledge of accounts payable and experience performing in a lead role

Knowledge of general accounting procedures

Knowledge of relevant accounting software is a plus but not required

Knowledge of SAP Concur is a plus but not required

Knowledge of Tipalti is a plus but not required

Proficient in data entry and management

3-5 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
