Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Engineer, the primary focus of this position will be the development and improvement of production operations.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Participate in the production launch of new products
- Carry out development projects in the plant
- Optimize work arrangements and methods through the implementation of value-added production initiatives (PVA)
- Design and implement workstation adjustments
- Map processes to identify improvement opportunities (VSM)
- Use the KAIZEN methodology and Lean manufacturing principles to carry out projects
- Implement sustainable solutions to achieve production objectives (OHS, quality, costs, deadlines, etc.)
- DEC in industrial engineering or AEC with 1 to 5 years experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Knowledge of English (an asset)
- Good communication and facilitation skills
- Problem solving skills
- Autonomy and initiative
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma concepts
