Job Description
Fountain Safety is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and contractors by adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations. This position will work on location to ensure that all safety requirements are being followed and that the safety program is being run efficiently and effectively.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Monitoring compliance with OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies
- Coordinating with departments on safety issues and ensuring that all safety requirements are being followed
- Conducting safety inspections of facilities and equipment
- Conducting training for new employees on safety requirements and procedures
- Conducting safety presentations to employees
- Assisting in the development of policies and procedures for new facilities or expansions
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Safety or Risk Management team
Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a construction environment working with lead or general contractor (preferred)
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience in a healthcare facility
- Construction
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum 1 year’s experience in a construction environment working with lead or general contractor (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
