JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Involved in production/Stage/development environment setup, configuration and support of db2/Sybase/oracle/Sqlserver and other RDBMS;
- Installation, configuration and upgrade of db2/Sybase/oracle/Sqlserver and other RDBMS products;
- Design and Implement database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements;
- Perform database troubleshooting and performance monitoring;
- Develop database related automation and self-service tools for DBA and application teams using Perl/Shell scripts;
- Proactive and reactive management of support issues, including liaison with business users and system users.
The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of experience with the following technical expertise:

- Secondary skills :

The applicant should also have a high level expertise with our internal proprietary tools and processes including db2ts/syts/ Oracle Assist/SQL Assist dbap/tam/kuu/afs/vms/Train and more.
Education requirement: Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
Project Administrator:
Experience/Skillset
- 0-2 years of experience working as a project administrator
- Maintain and update project plan based on direction from the Project Managers
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Update Risk and Issue Log as per the directions of the Project Manager
- Distribute status reports, manage feedback and consolidate updates
- Take direction from Project Managers and document follow up activities
- Schedule meetings and working sessions based on the inputs received from the Project Managers
- Understanding of Project Life Cycle
- Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
