We are currently searching for an experienced material handler/forklift operator for our warehouse.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- proficient on forklift (3+ years experience)
- be detail oriented
- able to accurately measure slabs and record data
- inventory management
- intermediate computer skills
- granite/stone experience is not required but would be an asset
Overview:
This position plays a vital role in the receiving, storing, and documenting materials within the warehouse. Upon receiving material, the ideal candidate will review quality and accuracy of order. They will move slabs with forklift and/or crane and distributed accordingly. For outgoing orders, the shipper/receiver will perform quality control checks and safely load finished material for installers. Knowledge of workplace safety and safe handling procedures is a must.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
