Overview:
The Line Cook is responsible for creating full course meals and individual dishes under the guidance of the Chef. This is a fast paced position requiring the ability to perform under pressure and to multitask. This position does allow for creative input in designing daily specials and new menus. Line Cooks will prepare food for Local Croffle Restaurant, Banquets and the two outlets.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Complete kitchen preparation in a timely and accurate manner with little supervision. Must be able to determine preparation requirement on own.
2. Ensuring a strong understanding of all menu items, recipes and associated costs.
3. Prepare appetizers, entrees, and desserts depending on daily assignment accordingly to recipes and standards.
4. Ensure quality control.
5. Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, convection oven etc).
6. Provide guidance to dishwashers and kitchen help where appropriate.
7. Communicate clearly with front of house staff with regards to food allergies, wait times, and special orders.
8. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies and intolerances.
9. Clean up of entire kitchen area.
10. Dedication to helping create a safe and enjoyable workplace for guests and employees.
11. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
