Job description
We are hiring 2 positions: mechanic AND mechanic assistant. Preference applicant has hydraulic and/or power tool experience and a basic mechanical aptitude. Starting wage is $20-$40 depending on experience & skills, with a review at 3 months.
Experience in the following would be an asset: hydraulics, welding, machining. Duties include: front counter sales/service, shop & tool clean-up, making/repairing hydraulic hoses, answering phones.
Team player, shows initiative, and a learner attitude.
Growth potential for the right candidate.
Must have valid BC drivers license, be physically fit and demonstrate a positive learner attitude. Must show a dedicated commitment to safe work practices. Must have good penmanship and be able to put cel phone aside during working hours.
