KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform maintenance repairs, service/maintenance and resetting procedures on various fire sprinkler systems
· Annual and monthly Inspections on sprinkler systems, fire pump and standpipe
· Inspections on all wet and dry based sprinkler systems and standpipe systems
· Repairs, new installations, and retrofits of sprinkler systems
· Fire pump, air compressor, and backflow maintenance
· Hydrant Inspections
· Complete all fire-related repairs from the deficiency lists provided
· On-call both daytime and after hours on a rotational basis
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must possess a valid 427A license
· Minimum 3 years experience in installation and repairs
· Knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, 20 codes and standards
· Valid drivers license and clean abstract
· A broad knowledge of sprinkler systems and troubleshooting
· Good communication skills and the use of laptops for reports, as well as knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
· Prefer a dedicated individual with residence in the GTA.
· Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures
