The successful applicants are responsible for safe troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and controls on heavy equipment and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical diagnosis and perform maintenance on various makes of electrical system, mainly 930 Electric Haul Trucks
- Ensure work is completed safely and an FLRA is completed at the beginning of every job or when a job changes
- Perform electrical repairs according to standards, procedures and practices set out by industry and KMC Mining
- Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met
Technical and Education Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician certification
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Proven safety training and exceptional safety record
- A minimum of 1 year experience in troubleshooting, repairing electrical systems & controls on 930 Electric Haul Trucks
- Must have CSTS/OSSA/BSO
-Experience on electric drive mining trucks considered an asset
Rotation & Accommodation:
- The normal shift rotation is 5 on 2 off
- Resident Retention bonus will be provided to the successful candidates
- Transportation will be provided to and from site and town.
