Kildare Renovations is looking to hire two Carpenters. Kildare is a Custom Renovations Specialist construction company focusing on commercial and residential properties, from kitchen renovations to commercial buildings to single-family homes. The Role
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and framing
- Repair and renovate existing structures, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members, including architects, engineers, and other tradespeople, to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a safe working environment
- Estimate project costs, including materials and labor, and provide accurate timelines for completion
The Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a construction or renovation company
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Knowledge of building codes, safety guidelines, and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
