Job Description
In support of the mission, values, and mandate of Youth Diversion, the incumbent is responsible to provide case management, counselling, crisis intervention functions; also to participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services for youth who are exhibiting at-risk behaviors. The Youth Outreach Program Coordinator facilitates prevention and early intervention programs and services for community referred youth.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant Social Science Discipline from a recognized University. A Masters of Social Work is preferred which includes membership in good standing and current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Adherence to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of Social Work
- Experience supporting with persons with intellectual disabilities and/or identified learning disabilities would be an asset
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check (CPIC) required upon hire
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
