Summary of Job Description:
The Branch Operations Manager directs warehouse activities for the company by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates:

Directly managing the Assistant Branch Operations Manager and approximately 15 teammates in the warehouse and delivery operation;
-
Lead recruiting/on-boarding activities including interviewing, hiring, training;
-
Plans, assigns and directs work as required to meet the deadlines and targets of the branch;
-
Instills and maintains a customer service oriented philosophy in all conduct of self and subordinates;
-
Follows operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current;
-
Makes recommendations for improvements to procedures;
-
Responsible for all monies collected from customers as well as petty cash and will call funds;
-
Ensures cash management, replenishment, bin locations, returned merchandise and inventory errors are processed according to company standards;
-
Manages the safety and maintenance repairs for delivery vehicles;
-
Ensures safety procedures are followed and makes recommendations regarding safety issues.
Successful Candidate must:
-
Must have a minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience including coaching and performance management;
-
Must have a minimum of one year of cash handling;
-
Minimum 3 years’ class G driving experience required and must maintain a clean driver's abstract;
-
Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy of the Company;
-
Must be available Monday to Friday as well as alternating Saturdays
