TROUW NUTRITION IS HIRING… We are looking for a Technical Dairy Sales Representative to join our growing Dairy Sales team and partner with an established and growing customer base of valued local dairy producers! This position requires someone who is energetic, passionate about people, passionate about the Alberta Dairy industry, and is committed of taking great care of the customers we serve.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
We count on your expertise and experience to develop strong business relationships with our dairy customers and grow the business line of Dairy Sales.

Responsible for growing the AB dairy portfolio within the region. Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits our products.

In conjunction with the nutrition team, responsible for balancing rations and provide on-farm consultation to maximize productivity and profitability for our Dairy producers.

Support other team members in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Develop positive relationships with industry professionals and producers.

Provide strategic business planning input as requested.

Portray an image of leadership and service to the dairy and feed industry.

Act as a Trouw Nutrition representative at customer events, tradeshows and conferences.
HIRING CRITERIA
You are known for your knowledge and passion about the Alberta Dairy industry and dairy operations in Western Canada. Having industry experience in a dairy producer facing role considered an asset, however, willing to train the right candidate.

BSc in agricultural science or related field.

Ability to build trusting and long-term relationships with dairy producers.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Organized and demonstrate time management skills.

Flexibility and a willingness to be coached and learn processes.
GOOD TO KNOW:

Full-time / Permanent, 40 hours/week.

Language: English

A valid drivers’ license is required for this role.

Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events.
