Century Transportation is currently seeking a Licensed 310T Mechanic for our Port Hope location. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday and could either be four ten-hour shifts (2:00 pm to 12:00 am) or five eight-hour shifts (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).
Century is currently offering a $2,000 hiring bonus for Mechanics. Receive half after 1 month and the remainder following 3 months of employment!

Qualifications
- 310T ticket
- Safety Inspection License
- Experience working with a Fleet Management System is considered an asset
- Previous school bus experience consdiered an asset
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Own hand tools
- Valid Driver’s License
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Computer and diagnostic equipment skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Comprehensive screening and background checks are required, including references, drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check
Key Responsibilities
- Ongoing maintenance/repair of various school buses
- Brake and Safety Inspections
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as the Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations governing the location is a must
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Wage $33.00 /hour
