The Occupational Therapist Assistant will join our team to provide community-based rehabilitation support services, including the implementation of treatment programs and therapy goals aimed at restoring function and quality of life for individuals who have experienced impairments resulting from a motor vehicle accident. The OTA will also be responsible for regular communication with the client's regulated health professionals regarding progress and intervention strategies.
Required qualifications include a minimum one year experience working with individuals with complex health needs, including acquired brain injury, mental health concerns, and/or physical impairment, as well as an OTA/PTA college diploma. The OTA must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Access to a vehicle is required.
