Kandrea Insulation (1995) Ltd.is looking for 25x Insulators in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities include: Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools, Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods, Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials, Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers, Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment.
-Types of Systems-
Underground conduits and piping, Steam and condensate process lines, Vessels and boilers, Compressors, Towers and heat exchangers.
-Own Tools/Equipment-
Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
-Security and Safety-
Pre-hire Drug and Alcohol testing, Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check
-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities-
Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity, Overtime required .
Educational requirement: High School.
Related experience: 3 - 5 Years Experience. 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, Insulator Red Seal Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver's License, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Insulator (heat and frost) Trade Certification, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
Wage offered: $34.00 - 38.00 per hour for 40 hours/week, Permanent, Full Time.
