About The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Okanagan, the Journeyman Millwright will be working at various customer sites across the Okanagan Valley. If you love your current employer but want to venture out and try something new, this might be for you! This temporary or permanent part time employment opportunity provides a chance to supplement your existing position with extra weekend work. If you are interested in coming on board on a full time basis, there may be an opportunity to do so as well. Your duties will range from planned work order execution to troubleshooting and repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and ensuring customer concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Observe, test, and install newly built machinery;

Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machineries;

Interpret and study blueprints to determine correct installation and operation of machinery;

Safely perform and diagnose preventative maintenance work in an efficient method to minimize machine downtime.

Our Must Haves

Successfully obtained your Red Seal Millwright, Welder, or Fabricator certification;

Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract;

Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing client;

Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities;

Experience working in food and beverage, manufacturing, and distribution will be considered an asset.
