Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Superintendent / Foreman
- Full mechanical experience in concrete high rise buildings including good understanding of heating systems
- Ability to run and motivate a complete plumbing crew of 10 personnel or more, in a positive and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with clients and subtrades
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- All tickets associated with plumbing and gas fitting will be up to date
- Thorough knowledge of the BC Plumbing Code
- Computer proficient
- Capable of completing deck layout on AutoCAD an asset but not a necessity
Responsibilites
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Oversee day-to-day field activities
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily activities of apprentices and journeymen
- Mentor up and coming personnel
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments, subcontractors, lead hands and supervisors
- Resolve problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Coordinate and order materials and supplies by submitting material requisitions to Head Office
- Training or arrange for the training of workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies in coordination with Head Office
- Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotion
- Prepare schedules, work progress, production and other reports
- Conduct employee orientations and safety meetings
- Work closely with the President, Project Manager and Project Coordinator
- Prep As-Built drawings to be plotted to AutoCAD
- Work with designers to produce AutoCAD canning and layout drawings

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
